Climate Action Strathaven (CAS) first launched its bus service in October 2022 after concerns of poor transport links isolating elderly community members and impacting student’s university commute.

The service in 2022 received £19,500 in Grant Funding from renewables firm Banks Renewables and £21,500 from the national walking charity Paths for All’s Smarter Choices, Smarter Places (SCSP) Open Fund. The 3C bus service has expanded to offer twice as many services between Strathaven, Stonehouse & Glasgow.

The bus service travels between Strathaven in South Lanarkshire to Glasgow and has seen around 42,000 tickets issued from the 10th October 2022 to the end of June 2023. It is estimated that the buses have saved 510,000 car miles taking approximately 235 tonnes of C02 off the road.

Alison Harley, Programme Manager for Climate Action Strathaven said: “The impact the bus service has had on our community cannot be understated, it has been genuinely transformative.

“There has been a need for this service for a very long time in South Lanarkshire and we are really pleased we were not only able to set up a bus service but now be in the position to expand.”

“We’ve extended our service’s timetables in direct response to local demand. Before the bus, young people studying in Glasgow couldn’t get public transport to classes and some elderly people were really struggling with loneliness and a lack of independence – we’re certain the bus service has supported people in those tough circumstances.

“Like everything we do at Climate Action Strathaven, a massive element of this project is to cut emissions, promoting active travel in the area. Those values align perfectly with Banks Renewables and Paths for All, so we’re over the moon to be getting such important support from them both.”

Until the bus service, Strathaven students studying in Glasgow could not get public transport, a lot of which were forced to find accommodation in Scotland’s biggest city – adding financial pressures to themselves and their families.

Climate Action Strathaven is a community led climate action group who look to raise awareness about the climate crisis as well as creating a more sustainable future for the people of Strathaven.

The project was supported by national walking charity Paths for All which aims to give everyone the opportunity to walk to create a happier, healthier, greener Scotland.

Graham McQueen, Manager of the Smarter Choices, Smarter Places programme at Paths For All said: “Climate Action Strathaven have gone from strength to strength since the launch of their bus service and it is clear there is a demand for more accessible and sustainable modes of travel. The bus service is a lifeline to their local community. “Supporting communities through initiatives like the bus service is crucial to helping people thrive, especially in rural areas. We are delighted to support them throughout this journey.”

The project received funding through Banks Renewables’ Kype Muir Community Fund (KMCP), which was set up to provide financial assistance to community groups, voluntary organisations and communities local to the areas surrounding its Kype Muir wind project.

Robin Winstanley, sustainability, and external affairs manager at Banks Renewables said: “It’s really encouraging to see how much of an impact the bus service has had on the community of Strathaven, and we’re all delighted to hear that it’s been such a success.

“The bus project is a great example of what our funding grants are aiming to achieve, which is to invest in local communities to help them build and improve on vital services, creating better communities.”

A HILARIOUS video shows a stubborn Scotsman and his cone-carrying dog bringing a taxi on an Edinburgh road to a complete stop.

Jill Stark was out and about in the Scottish capital when she spotted a man walking his dog through the throngs of tourists on the roads of the Royal Mile.

The 47-year-old was left in stitches as she watched the man and his pooch, bizarrely carrying a yellow traffic cone, facing off against a taxi driver fuming at the man for ambling down the middle of the road.

Video shows the man meandering through a crowd of people, clutching his dog’s lead as his black and white companion carries a small yellow traffic cone in its mouth.

Seemingly bewildered by what she was seeing, author and journalist Jill laughs as she says: “What’s going on here? This dog is just carrying a traffic cone.”

The clip then cuts to the man, still with his pooch, standing in the middle of the cobbled streets of the Royal Mile, seemingly arguing with a taxi driver who has been brought to a halt in front of him.

Whilst the majority of the argument is unintelligible, the driver can be heard shouting “Move out the road” as the dog-walker seems to stand his ground.

Jill then commentates: “The guy with the dog and the traffic cone is holding up the traffic.”

An unidentified man off-screen then adds: “Scottish experience.”

Jill chuckles and jokes: “This is the most Edinburgh thing that I’ve ever seen.”

The man can then be seen slowly walking on in front of the taxi before quickly turning round and grabbing a metal barrier, dragging it in front of the driver to block his path.

The man then shouts something at the driver as an astounded Jill says: “Oh mate, you can’t do that, oh no! Oh, this is bad, this is not good, I just don’t know.”

The infuriated taxi driver then leaps out of his car, shouting something inaudible at the man and his dog as he pulls the barrier back out of the way.

Jill then laughs as she adds: “I suppose if you’ve got a dog with a police traffic cone in his mouth, it’s probably a bit of a situation.

As the driver returns to his cab, the man then hilariously pulls the barrier back out again, blocking the path of the taxi once more, before wandering onto the pavement with his dog.

The driver, shaking his head, then climbs back out of his car and calmly moves the barrier again, staring the man down as he does so.

Jill, now in stitches, says: “Oh my God, Scotland just keeps on Scotland-ing.”

In a final act of troublemaking though, the dog-walker then decides to take the cone out of his dog’s mouth, placing it down in front of the taxi as the driver climbs back in.

However, the dog appears to have tired of the man’s mischief-making this time, picking the cone back up right before the driver angrily steps back out the car, as his owner laughs at the chaos he’s created.

Jill shares the video to social media earlier this month with the caption: “Welcome to Edinburgh. The most Scottish thing you’ll see today.”

The clip has since received over 4,800 likes and more than 140 comments from users left howling at the man’s pettiness.

One user commented: “Scotland just keeps on Scotland-ing haha great line.”

Another wrote: “Therein lies the difference between Edinburgh & Glasgow, in Glasgow, that’s a square go inside 30 seconds.”

A third added: “That dog is very lovely, and the guy is actually pretty friendly too.”

Another said: “Dug was like ‘wanty go hold up traffic the day for a laugh get a wee cone pure cause havoc’. Owner – ‘aye mon let’s go’.”

Speaking today Jill said: “I was just wandering down the High Street when I saw this guy with his dog carrying the traffic cone which I thought was cute.

“I saw him up at the Esplanade. Then as I was walking down High Street I saw him again, in the middle of the road, holding up the traffic, as you can see from the video.

“The taxi driver was getting frustrated but it seemed like just a bit of fun as he kept moving the barrier to block his path.

“It went on for a while, he’d move the barrier to block the taxi then the driver would get out and move it away and then the guy put it back and so it went.

“Eventually one of the volunteer tour guides (the people in red jackets) intervened and shooed him away. Somebody asked me if it was a Fringe act but it definitely wasn’t.

“One of the tour guides told me the guy with the dog is pretty well known around town.”

THIS is the moment a duck holds up an entire train as it slowly waddles nonchalantly down the track in the middle of a Scottish train station.

Commuter Frank Mosson captured the mother duck leading her little ducklings along the platform in front of the 10am service in East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire on Wednesday.

The video begins showing the Scotrail train slowly entering station to disembark next to the platform, casually being led in by the mother duck.

Upon its slow approach the patient train driver can be seen monitoring the duck immediately in front of him as he attempts to use his horn to move it out of the way.

On the platform, two young ducklings can be seen racing along in an attempt to keep pace with the train and their mother.

An elderly passenger can also be seen walking directly behind the ducklings as he tries to usher them along and out of the way of the oncoming train.

The video ends before the train is fully in position – however the mother duck does seem to drift towards the platform.

Frank later confirmed that the duck eventually hopped up next to her offspring on the platform before waddling out the station door – perfectly unaware of the hold-up she had just caused.

Frank shared the video to social media on Wednesday with the caption: “Funny thing happened on the way to Glasgow this morning.

“Well done to the driver of the 10am EK train for his care and patience. The mother duck flew onto the platform and they all waddled out the station door!”

The post has received over 3,000 likes and dozens of comments from users praising the driver for his vigilance.

One user wrote: “I’ve heard of leaves on the line, but ducks? They’ll never believe the announcement for late arrival. Well done, driver.”

Another wrote: “Train late due to a duck on the line is a new one.”

A third commented: “Much respect for the driver with the heart in the right place.”

Another said: “Amazing. Hats off to the kind, caring train driver.”

A fifth replied: “Okay, somebody make a Thomas story out of this please.”

Speaking today a spokesperson for Scotrail said: “We applaud the actions of our driver when faced with this adorable, feathery family affair.

“Safety is our top priority, even for our fine-feathered friends. Thankfully, the train didn’t ruffle any feathers during this delightful encounter.”

THIS is the moment a Scots Just Eat delivery man gets into a bizarre scrap with a driver after he hurled his van keys down the road.

Tawny Rutherford was on her way to work yesterday in the Leith area of Edinburgh when she came up behind the two men, who were in a heated argument with each other.

The 22-year-old couldn’t believe her eyes as she watched the cyclist brazenly snatch the driver’s keys from him and toss them away – resulting in a hilarious tug of war over the man’s bike.

The shocking video shows the cyclist aggressively throwing his bike – as well as his Just Eat delivery bag – to the ground in the middle of the road.

He then approaches the man in the van whilst mid-argument, shouting: “No you’re the one who nearly killed me – go get your f***ing keys.”

The infuriated cyclist then reaches into the man’s van, seemingly snatching his car keys from him and hurling them down the road.

The driver responds by leaving his van and calmly removing his sunglasses before lifting up the man’s white bike and dragging it down the road towards his keys.

The two men then bizarrely walk down the road to retrieve both their bike and keys as other road users look on in bewilderment, stuck in the traffic jam that the pair’s confrontation has created.

The two men can then be seen in the distance hilariously having a tug of war over the bike with both men holding one wheel each.

A man in the traffic jam can be heard saying “F***ing cyclists are the worst.”

The video was uploaded to social media by Tawny last night with the caption: “Go get your f***ing keys.”

The video has received over 1,300 likes and more than 100 comments from users left in stitches by the peculiar argument.

One user wrote: “Did somebody say just yeet?”

Another commented: “‘Takes glasses off’ now watch me drag this bike.”

A third said: “Great Britain in a nutshell. Wouldn’t have it any other way.”

One user asked: “What was the point of the bike grab?”

Speaking today Tawny said: “The cyclist was coming up Leith Walk and was almost hit when this black van turned left onto Dalmeny Street.

“The cyclist wasn’t physically hurt or thrown from the bike at all, he just had to brake harshly at the road opening – there were other pedestrians waiting to cross at the time.

“I would say the van had the right of way to turn left onto Dalmeny Street.

“However when the cyclist had to come to a sudden stop he became angry and started shouting before taking a quick left onto Dalmeny Street to follow the black van.

“When the van had come to a stop in traffic the cyclist started banging on his window and screaming at the driver.

“He then started putting his hands in the van and attacking the driver. This went on for around ten minutes but I never managed to get it all.

“I was actually quite shocked at the way the cyclist had behaved, especially as he was the one in the wrong.

“I’m a community care assistant based in Edinburgh and was on my way to work at the time of the incident – it actually held me up and many of my clients had later visits yesterday due to this.”

Police Scotland have been approached for comment.

SCOTLAND contains more than 500 active speed cameras, new data has revealed – one for every 10,000 people across the country.

The vast majority of the fixed cameras are located in Scotland’s densely populated central belt around the major conurbations of Glasgow and Edinburgh.

But drivers who find themselves exceeding the speed limit on one of Scotland’s many remote country roads could also find themselves landed with a ticket.

Police Scotland has disclosed the location of every speed camera in Scotland after a request under the Freedom of Information Act by road safety campaigners Road Angel.

Orange speed camera
The data has disclosed the location of every fixed and mobile speed camera north of the border.

There are a total of 518 fixed and mobile speed cameras across Scotland, making one for every 10,529 Scots based on the 2019 population estimate of 5.45 million people.

The devices include Britain’s most northern speed camera, a mobile unit operating along the A9 Stainland Straight near Thurso.

The FOI data will be of interest not only to drivers in Scotland but also to tourists across the UK who may be considering a road trip north of Hadrian’s Wall.

Motorists should be aware they may still get caught for speeding wherever they travel to in Scotland, no matter how far remote or populated.

Perhaps unsurprisingly Glasgow has more speed cameras than any other Scottish town or city with 72 in the city area.

Edinburgh is comparatively camera free with only 34 located in the greater area.

There are 25 speed cameras within a few miles of the border with England, targeting those motorists who hope to put their foot down once entering the country.

The Scottish government says that it deploys cameras along roads which have high levels of collisions and speeding in an attempt to maximise reducing the number of incidents.

If caught speeding by these cameras, drivers should expect to receive a minimum fine of £100 and three penalty points added to their licence.

Gary Digva, founder of Road Angel said: “Speed cameras play a useful role in keeping Britain’s roads safe and it’s interesting to see how they are being deployed in Scotland.

“Our request revealed that not only are there a high number of speed cameras in the cities and large towns but also that the police in Scotland are committed to the use of mobile speed cameras even on some of the most remote roads in the Highlands.

“Anyone thinking they can get away with speeding in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland needs to think again.

“The data shows they need to be aware of mobile speed cameras in even the most remote spots.

“Unsurprisingly the two largest cities – Glasgow and Edinburgh – have the highest number of speed cameras out on the roads.

“We strongly advise all motorists across Scotland to be mindful of their speed and to not exceed the legal limit.

“It can be tempting to put your foot down on open country roads but drivers should remember that a mobile speed camera may be waiting for them around the next bend.

“If they are photographed driving above the legal limit they risk a hefty fine and points of their driving licence.”

A COACH driver has issued a warning after shocking footage captured his colleague’s near-miss with a “suicide driver” that swerved over his lane on the motorway.

Martyn Slater spoke out about the frequency of road users trying to swerve past coaches after an unnamed colleague was the subject of a near-fatal collision earlier this month.

The coach driver had been cruising along the M621 near Leeds, Yorkshire with 32 passengers in tow when he slammed on the brakes as a black BMW appeared from nowhere and swerved up a slip road.

Terrifying dashcam footage shows the coach driving in the middle lane of the motorway at its restricted speed of 62mph.

A truck and trailer can be seen in the left lane, whilst a black SUV can be seen a few car lengths in front of the coach itself.

Suddenly, a black BMW comes into view on the right of the coach, seemingly preparing to merge into the lane.

The unsuspecting coach driver appears to only notice the BMW at the last minute when it suddenly swings from the right lane into the middle.

However, the BMW then slows down and brakes after it realises it is boxed in by the coach and the trailer, leaving the coach driver to slam the brakes.

Amazingly, the heavyweight vehicle manages to somehow slow in time, coming within inches of the back of the BMW, which appears entirely unfazed as it swings off into the left lane.

The driver then speeds off again, crossing the white chevrons on the left of his lane and down a slip road out of sight.

Martyn explained that this is a frequent thing for many coach drivers. Martyn Slater. (C) Facebook

Martyn, 64, took to social media to share with other road users the potential dangers of the motorway and the hazards that he and many other coach drivers face.

He wrote half-jokingly: “Brave doing this in front of a coach.”

The post received dozens of likes and comments, with many users left shaking their heads at the BMW driver’s foolishness.

One person wrote: “Never mind brave. I say bloody stupid, more like.”

Another said: “Wow, that was a proper dick move. Total b****nd.”

A third commented: “Hope that went to a police porthole.”

Another added: “Suicide driver.”

A fifth wrote: “There’s nothing brave about being too stupid to live.”

Speaking to Martyn today he said: “It is a common occurrence, the car driver thinks because he is quicker than the coach they will leave it until the last second to come from the third lane to exit.

“On this occasion a vehicle was in the nearside lane just in front of the coach. So, the car braked hard to drop behind it.

“As you can see that was the space the coach was in. The coach weight is over 15 tonnes unladen so it needs a lot of braking distance.

“It is something we have to watch for at every junction, not usually that extreme. We are restricted to 62 mph and lorries 56 so we cannot just zoom past.

“It happened to me twice yesterday – not as bad but in both cases they came from the third lane at less than 300 yards.”

SHOCKING dashcam footage shows a driver narrowly avoiding catastrophe as an unseen woman steps out into the road – in front of 50mph traffic.

Sean Mouton had been driving home from work last week along the A6 in Lancashire when he was forced to slam on the brakes after a rogue pedestrian stepped out onto the road.

The 28-year-old sounded his horn and came to a screeching halt when a woman – apparently oblivious to the presence of vehicles – appears out of the darkness and almost into his front bumper.

Footage of the shocking moment the woman walks into traffic. Credits: Sean Mouton.

Video shows the account manager driving along the dark stretch of road whilst music plays in the background.

Suddenly, in a “blink and you’ll miss it” moment, a figure can be seen emerging from the darkness by the side of the road.

The woman, dressed in a dark green jacket with her hood up and allegedly looking at her mobile phone, walks straight into the road and in front of Sean’s car.

Sean, from Preston, Lancashire, jerks his car to the right, narrowly missing the lucky woman by inches.

Simultaneously, he blasts his horn as he slams his brakes and comes to a complete stop, shaken by the near-fatal accident.

Sean uploaded the video to Facebook last week with the caption: “This was at 50mph, hood up and I assume didn’t see me.

“Impossible to avoid, she is very lucky. Sound kept on as you can hear how quickly I react on the horn.”

One Facebook user commented: “Could she not hear you coming?”

Another said: “If she tried that with a wagon or a coach or even a loaded van that wouldve been a far different story.”

A third wrote: “Bet she will still be blaming you.”

Another user joked: “How long a sentence did you receive for the crime of listening to truly horrific music?”

Speaking today, Sean said: “The incident took place along the A6 in Lancashire, it’s a notoriously busy road and this was near the Flower Bowl in Preston.

Driver, Sean Mouton. (C) Sean Mouton

“The constant flow of traffic means it isn’t ideal for pedestrian use and certainly should not be crossed where this occurred – in the 50mph zone.

“I was travelling at 50mph and noted the person waiting to cross. I’m quite spacially aware and as soon as I saw her foot move I knew she hadn’t seen me.

“I instantly slammed my brakes on and pressed my horn which brought me to a sliding halt as I’d braked so hard.

“I was worried I had hit her at first but I checked my rear view and saw her continue to run across the road.

“Fortunately there wasn’t any contact. Upon reviewing the footage you can see a few frames show a lit-up object in her hand, I believe she was on her phone and distracted.

“It just goes to show how aware of your surroundings you need to be at all times.”

THIS is the moment a speeding driver hurtles through a red light at a pedestrian crossing, just seconds after a car had pulled out of the way.

Anthony Atkin captured the motorist’s dangerous antics on Saturday in Tameside, Greater Manchester.

The 56-year-old’s dashcam footage shows what appears to be a grey Mercedes-Benz racing past Anthony at well over 60mph, plowing through a blatant red light and missing a turning car by seconds.

The video shows Uber driver Anthony gradually coming to a stop at a set of traffic lights which had just turned red.

Whilst there are no pedestrians crossing in that moment, a black car can be seen turning out from the junction on the left, and crossing Anthony’s lane to join the traffic heading the other way.

Then, merely three seconds after the car turns off the lane, loud revving can be heard as the grey car comes hurtling past Anthony’s right hand side.

The car blatantly ignores the lights, which have been red for 13 seconds at that point, and races right through and up the hill in front of it.

It briefly brakes to slow down for a turn at the peak of the hill, but then continues accelerating away and out of shot.

The lights remain red for another 12 seconds after the car speeds through them, and the clip ends as Anthony turns left into Tesco.

Anthony, from Oldham, shared the unbelievable footage online yesterday morning, receiving dozens of reactions and comments from shocked users.

He added in the comments: “Three seconds earlier and a different outcome.”

One user said: “I was waiting for the police car.”

Another replied: “Holy f***!”

A third user wrote: “K***head.”

Another simply said: “Organ donor.”

One user joked however, saying: “Hate people like this, if he was one minute later I would have got my pizza free, that’s why I ordered it from so far away.”

Speaking today, Anthony said: “I’m an Uber driver, and I had a pick-up at Tesco, which is to my left [in the video].

“There’s a lot of bad drivers about at this time of day, and I capture a lot on the dashcam but this one in particular is one of the worst I’ve seen so far.

“I suppose that I cover a lot of ground in and around Tameside, I do come across a lot of bad drivers – there’s a lot of road accidents in the North West.

“As you can see in that video, I wasn’t rattled much by it and just carried on with my daily duties.”

It is an offence in the UK for any vehicle to pass the white line at a set of traffic lights, unless guided to do otherwise by a police officer.

If drivers are caught passing a red light without authorisation, they can be fined up to £100 with an extra three points added onto their license for four years.

A “COWBOY” driver has been slammed after his load of giant gas canisters weighing “a tonne each” came crashing off narrowly missing passing vehicles.

Traffic officers from Greater Manchester Police (GMP) revealed on Monday how they had attended the scene after the load of giant red canisters came tumbling off at a junction in Worsley, Greater Manchester.

Images show six worn canisters lying on the road next to a snapped strap and a part of the lorry that appears to have come flying off alongside the heavy canisters.

The lorry’s straps also appear to be heavily frayed, with the load being secured improperly, leading to the canisters coming rolling off towards passing cars in a style similar to cult classic movie series Final Destination.

GMP Traffic shared the images to social media on Monday, revealing that the driver had been reported, a PG9 issued and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) informed.

They said: “The driver of this vehicle failed to adequately secure his load prior to embarking on his journey.

“Unfortunately his lack of straps and load securing meant his load shifted & fell from the trailer, narrowly avoiding passing vehicles. #PG9 issued, driver reported & HSE notified.”

GMP Traffic also added in a later post: “Also two tonne limit and yet only two straps used to support around seven cylinders weighing probably a tonne each.”

The post has received hundreds of likes and dozens of comments from users who reacted in shock at the potential catastrophe avoided.

One user said: “Hopefully they were empty, torpedoes in the making.”

Another replied: “Absolute disgrace, too lazy or can’t be bothered. Could have killed someone.”

A third user said: “Flipping heck that’s gonna be a code brown for the car following.”

Another commented: “Another ‘professional’ driver. He shouldn’t have a licence if he’s driving around with a loose load like that, he could have killed people.”

A fifth user added: “You probably don’t want to be on the East Lancs Road when whatever the hell these things are come rolling down the hill at you!”

Another replied: “Cowboy outfit on the road.”

And one user simply said: “Final Destination.”

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said today: “At approximately 12pm on Monday 12 December 2022, officers were called to reports of a transport related incident on A580 Chaddock Lane, East Lancashire Road in Worsley.

“A heavy goods vehicle had lost a load of empty gas cylinders, which left the road partially obstructed.

“The road re-opened later that day at approximately 3pm.

“No arrests were made.”

A PG9 is issued due to mechanical problems or the condition of a vehicle’s bodywork and equipment and can have an immediate or delayed effect depending on how severe the defect is.

The scenario drew comparisons to the movie Final Destination 2, specifically the scene in which a log falls off the back of a lorry and comes flying through a police officer’s windscreen.

A “COWBOY” driver has been issued a penalty for loading a lorry a staggering 12 tons over the accepted weight – on top of a tyre as “bald as Harry Hill”.

Vehicle examiners from the Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) yesterday revealed how they stopped the low loader driver in his tracks after spotting the insanely overloaded flatbed.

Images show the packed vehicle parked up after being pulled over, carrying at least four heavy machinery vehicles on its flatbed – including a road roller and a JCB.

One of the lorry’s tyres is also so dangerously worn down with no tread left in sight that it looks as if part of the rubber has been completely ripped off.

The Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) shared the images to Facebook yesterday, revealing that the low loader company was now under investigation.

They said: “Vehicle examiners stopped this low loader which was claiming to be moving under Special Types General Orders (STGO). The low loader company is now being investigated.

“It was 12,400kg overloaded.

“These tractors should have been transported on two or more separate vehicles.

“The transport manager knew this but was just taking a chance.

“National Highways had told them it needed two days’ notice to transport them as they weren’t being moved in an emergency.

“Two prohibitions were issued for a defective tyre and 28% overload, driver issued a fixed penalty [and] the Traffic Commissioner has been informed and the operator will need to explain their actions.

“Vehicles moving under STGO allow unusual vehicles to be driven on UK highways. It indicates which category a vehicle is licenced to operate within.

“It also will identify the weight of a vehicle and will be clearly visible on the front of a vehicle.”

The overloaded low loader.
The low loader was over 12,000kg over the weight limit.

Hundreds of people have liked the post and left shocked face emojis.

While others have commented on the post after being left in disbelief to the images.

Stephen Davies said: “That tyre – as a driver you just wouldn’t under any circumstances consider going on the road with that.”

Jon Christopher said: “Can’t even pretend theres something on there, its as bald as Harry Hill.”

Jim Reap said: “The authorities really need to clamp down on the ‘indivisible load’ rules being blatantly broken. Well done to DVSA for getting another chancing cowboy outfit off our roads.”

Roger Hall said: “Can’t even call that tyre a slick as it’s non-existent.”

Mick Waddington said: “How on earth is that only a FPN (fixed penalty notice) for the driver? Imagine the damage that extra 12ton could do”

And Steve Lee added: “Bloody hell. I’ve seen more feathers on a frog.”
